Pentecost signals God's presence with his people then and through all time. It also is the kick off of the Trinity season, six months that tie Easter, and Advent together. While the calender moves further from Easter Sunday, we never move from those glorious words shouted out early Easter Morn..."He is Risen!!! He is risen indeed!!!"
With those simple words we ushered in the celebration of our Lord Jesus' victory over sin and death. With the empty tomb on Easter Sunday, Jesus completed his mission...to take our place and sacrifice himself to cleanse us from all sin. Jesus resurrection, through baptism, clothes us in his righteousness, freeing us from our sins. That message is the message of all Christians...that The Cross + the Empty Tomb = Salvation. That message is at the heart of everything that we do throughout the years.
Join us to celebrate Jesus sacrifice...learn of God's unbounded love for us as his creation. We worship every Sunday morning at 10 AM with Sunday School and Adult Bible class at 11:30. We also offer additional opportunities for learning...Wednesday Bible Lunch at 11:30 and the Women's bible study the second Tuesday of every month at 7:30

Summer is near and that means that the English as a Second Language (ESL) classes have come to an end. While our students and instructors take a much needed break, we are busy planning the fall semester. The classes are not scheduled to resume until September, but you may continue to worship in Spanish at the 4 pm Spanish Service. You can also practice your English at our 10 am Divine Service. Sunday School and Bible Class begin on September 12 with Rally Day immediately after church. Classes begin for all ages. The following Tuesday, September 14, our ladies Bible study resumes, studying the Women of the Bible. And then on Wednesday, September 15, the Wednesday Bible lunch resumes. Look for additional opportunities to immerse yourself in the Bible as the year progresses. Women's Bible Study
The Monthly Women's Bible Study. is getting set to return.. Join the Ladies of Holy Trinity for dessert, beginning September 14 at 7 PM, as they explore the lives of some of the most interesting women of the Bible. They meet in the Parsonage on the second Tuesday of the Month. Plan on attending for an evening of fun, learning, fellowship and nourishment.
English as a Second Language Classes (ESL) English as a Second Language classes are on summer break. Classes for all levels will be back at the church beginning in September. Classes are taught by professors, and students from Concordia College. To register call (914) 965-3884. |
