Lent is a time of reflection and preparation in anticipation of our Lord Jesus' death on the cross and his saving resurrection on Easter Sunday. From ancient times these forty days have been set aside as a time of special devotion, self denial, and humble repentance born of a faithful heart that dwells confidentaly on his Word and draws from it life and hope. Traditionally these 40 days correspond to Jesus 40 days of temptation in the wilderness. As those 40 days of fasting prepared Jesus for his coming mission, we are encouraged to include fasting, additional prayer time and additional personal Bible studies in preparation for the celebration of Jesus triumph over sin and the Devil. .
In preparation, the believers at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church offer a midweek worship service every Wednesday at both 11:30 AM and 7:30 PM. This year the theme of the Midweek worship is Words of Life from the Cross, with emphasis on Jesus' seven words from the cross. All of this leads to Jesus triumphant entry into Jerusulem on Palm Sunday, and the events of Holy Week including Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, the Easter Vigil on Saturday and Easter Sunday
We, the members of God's Kingdom who worship at Holy Trinity invite you to join us in worship of the Triune God every Sunday morning at 10 AM and Wednesday's during Lent at 11:30 and 7:30. You are also invited to join us in Bible study, and Sunday School immediately after Sunday Worshipo service.

Wednesday Evening Bible study Look for the return of the Wednesday Evening Bible study. Starting soon at 7:30 P.M. We meet downstairs in the Fellowship Hall Sunday School and Bible Study Classes have started for all ages from pre-school all the way to adults. Thee childrens classes will learn about the heroes of the Old Testament. The adult class begins an intensive study of Church History. Join us immediately after worship in the fellowship hall.
