Leroy Leach - Pastor
E-mail Leroy

Pastor Leach came to be a Lutheran in a round about manner. He was rasied a Roman Catholic and attended Catholic School until seventh grade. During the early 70's he dabbled in the  Eastern religion of Zen Buddhism and moved to northern California where he encountered the Jesus People. There he heard the Gospel of how Jesus died on the cross for our sins. He committed his life to Christ. Upon returning to his home town, he attended an Assemblies of God Church where he met his wife, Deborah, and had his first son. They went to A/G Bible College where pastor recieved his BA in Bible and a second son was born. Then he went to Westminster Theological Seminary, became a Presbyterian, and recieved an MA in Religion. After doing Church planting as a businessman, they left for the midwest, where pastor was ordained as a Presbyterian minister. Upon reading Lutheran theology, he left the ministry of the Presbyterian Church, became a Lutheran, and went back into business. After ten years, and the birth of a daughter, Sara, he went back to seminary to become a Lutheran pastor. At seminary, he recived an MA in Theology and a Ph.D. in Missiology. Holy Trinity is pastor's first Lutheran congregation. His family arrived in August of 2004. In May of 2009, Pastor Leach became Dr. Leach, receiving his doctorate in Missiology from Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft Wayne, Indiana.

 AS LUTHERANS, WE BELIEVE:

  • We are followers of the teaching of God as revealed in the Christian Bible and, especially, the Word of Jesus Christ as the Son of God.
  • We are part of the greater (catholic) Christian Church that call ourselves “Lutherans”.
  • We believe that mankind can only enter eternal life by “grace alone”.
  • We believe that mankind can only live a God-pleasing life by “faith alone” through Christ.
  • We believe that the only objective and final truth for life and practice in this world, before God, is found in the “Scripture alone”, that is, the Holy Bible.
