Habitat for Humanity

Holy Trinity has long been a supporter of Habitat for Humanity

Slide Show

During those years we have hosted more than one Martin Luther King building blitz, a breakfast kick off for Millard Fuller, the founder of Habitat, and  inumerable college groups who volunteered their spring break to build houses in Westchester.  Jim Killoran, the Westchester executive director, has worked closely with our pastorsand Church Council to provide benefits to both Habitat for Humanity and the church, providing materials and labor for some of our projects, while we host the groups that help build affordable housing in the Hollow area.  We were also excited to be periphally involved in the week long build sponsored by Habitat for Humanity and Channel 2

Habitat for Humanity has also used our church to sponsor energy saving seminars, and how to go green seminars.  Through our relationship with the Westchester chapter of Habitat for Humanity, Holy Trinity has become a more vital force in our Community. Our relationship with Habitat for Humanity is a vital one, and we look forward to working with them in the future.
