Regarding giving, Paul writes:
The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8
Sacrificial Giving is a part of the life of the Christian. While we are not called to tithe in the same way that God's People were called to under the Ceremonial Law of Moses, we are still called to give generously, and can look to the model of tithing as an example of how we ourselves might approach our giving for the sake of the life of the church and the ministry of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
Of course, if you have questions about what you can or should give, or any about other matters, you are always encouraged to have a conversation with Pastor Abel..
May God bless you in all things abundantly!
